Study Abroad

During November-December of 2025, I participated in a month-long trip to Scandinavia in a program called Design, Landscape, and Society apart of DePaul University. I studied the culture, work, and beauty of the rich history and textures around me in places like the Designmusuem Danmark, Skansen Stockholm, and countless other landmarks.

A distinct denouement from my time across the seas was how much I felt at home, I worked on building an art piece from each city I was in as time passed that expressed my warmth with the locality. I prioritized colors, how the city felt and the auras I witnessed. I reflected on its grit and splendor, positing the art as more than just 2d. And most importantly, I took what I had captured in my Canon and made it reflect the bliss I was wrapped in.
